Spike Volleyball has merged with Players Sports Group!
Players Sports Group has merged with Spike Volleyball to run the 15th annual Luau, Chicago’s largest grass volleyball tournament and party! With over 350 teams and 50 kegs, the Luau is a huge grass volleyball event for all levels of play. Tournament play begins in the morning with the MGD 64 beer truck parked right up on the grass to get the party started! Entry fee for the event includes tournament play, all-you-can eat and drink during the day, DJ all day, and one hour of complimentary drinks during our post party at night following the tournament. Spectators are encouraged and welcome to come – a $20 fee includes all-you-can-eat and drink during the day. The Luau will be 50 Kegs of fun! You must be 19 or older to participate in the Luau.

Entry fee includes the volleyball tournament, food all day, all you can drink beer, wine, soda, watermelon punch, and more! We pull the beer truck right up into the middle of the tournament area, so plan to stay and party after you are done playing! All players are invited to the post party at the tournament hotel Saturday night for one hour of complimentary drinks. ***We will order Luau 2010 t-shirts on Tuesday September 7th. If you register after that date, we cannot gaurantee your team will receive t-shirts.

Parking Information
Teams should enter the St. Paul Woods Forest Preserve from Oakton. Parking attendants will help players find the first available spot. Once parking runs out in the forest preserve, cars should funnel into the Metra lot northeast of the forst preserve. It costs a small amount to park there and quarters are needed!
Luau 2010 Registration
List of registered teams as of 8/31/10 at 5 PM
Registration will be accepted through Wednesday 9/15 at 5 PM. Any team trying to register after that deadline cannot be guaranteed entry into their division of choice.
$55 per player until August 20th*
$60 per player until September 16th*

*As in years past, Luau registration is priced on a per player basis, meaning that if you have 3 players for a triple's team, you pay for 3 players, if you have 4 players for a triples team, you pay for 4 players, etc. The 4's & 6's divisions work the same way where you pay per player, NOT per team. Every regsitrant's fee includes playing in the tournament, food and booze. Only paying participants may take part in the tournament and all of the festivities.
Spectators Welcome!
Only $20 for an all day pass. This includes all-you-can eat and drink and open volleyball (space permitting).

We're excited to announce that a Bags Tournament has been added to The Luau this year which will also include an all-you-can eat and drink special as well during the day and one hour of complimentary drinks during our post party at night following the tournament.
Hotel Information
A block of room has been reserved for Luau participants at Holiday Inn Skokie. You can call them at 847-763-3068 and give the code "ZSQ" to get the reduced rate. The group rate is $109 per night plus tax and is valid only if you book before August 28th or until all the rooms are gone.
